Welcome to… Continental Charm!

I’ve been wanting to name my “H-3” booth(s) here at for a while now, but could never decide on a name. After my grandfather passed away at 101 years old, I was reminiscing about a story he told me at my grandmother’s funeral about 10 years ago. I had asked him how the two of them ended up together, and this is what he said:

“People would ask me ‘Hey Tony, how’d you get such a beautiful wife?’ And I’d say ‘I stole her glasses. I stole her glasses and asked her to marry me. She said yes.’” Later that day, when I asked him to tell the story again, he changed his tune. He said what got my Grandma (voted the most beautiful girl in her class) to marry him was his own “good looks and continental charm.”

Continental charm…

I loved that. That story. That sentiment. That rare human quality.

It’s a quality that can only be acquired with time and by traveling this world, life, with open eyes, taking it all in, and letting the good stuff shine. If only we all had a little more continental charm, what a wonderfully different place this planet this would be!

And so that’s it. I decided to name my little shop after ALL my grandparents and their honest to goodness continental charm - inside and out. Their homes and their collections were reflections of their personalities - timeless, elegant, artistic, rustic, warm, and whimsical, and that’s what I hope you find here!

Come on in! We’re always open! (Yes, I ship!)

Ah, this must be the place!! Check out our new space in Verona, PA! This was so much fun to “renovate” and turn into a showroom of sorts, just down the hall from our original H-3 booth on the 3rd floor. Come check it out!! *PS - The Miller’s Spring Sale is going on right now! 20% off almost everything!*

Anthony “Tony” Kozlosky (June 15, 1924 - January 6, 2026)

Yesterday, after 101.5 years, we laid my dear grandfather to rest. While we had plenty of pictures to commemorate his amazing life at the funeral (Tony as a young boy, Tony as an Air Force solider in WWII, as an artist, a father, a grandfather, and a great grandfather), it was also an impromptu Art Show, showcasing many of my grandfather’s favorite artistic achievements. I didn’t realize it till later but the common theme in almost each and every piece he ever created is People. Not landscapes or still lifes or animals, but his fellow (hu)man. I think that says a lot about my grandpa and what he cared about most his whole life through.

As my father said, “the likes on him are truly rare.” May he now rest in peace. 💕

Please enjoy these snippets of the Tony Kozlosky Art Collection; from oil paintings to watercolors, to scratchboard illustrations to cel-vinyl animations and clay sculptures.

I’m in love, I’m in love and I don’t care who knows it! 🎄Spent a snowy afternoon hot gluing my grandma’s antique painted light bulbs and adorable Homco fawns and trees onto an *almost* vintage tinsel wreath (I bought it from the $5 bin at Target in ~2010). I love it so much I can’t stop looking at it. I plan to find some vintage ribbon an switch that out but for now this will do!

Tony Kozlosky Art Share! 🎨

1) For the longest time, I thought the pen and ink drawing of the boy with the new shoes was a photograph. It’s my very favorite of my grandfather’s art and is based off a photo of a real boy who really was that happy to receive a new pair of shoes. The things we take for granted…

2) Cowboy watercolor study
3) Native American Chief oil painting (I always kinda thought this was at least partially a self portrait)
4) Nittany lion scratch art (every single whisker and hair!)
5) Fancy lady painting
6) Polar bear oil painting

My grandma had a huge collection of vintage Easter baskets. She never cared if they were slightly broken or battered (like this one), she loved them all just the same. I am selling a few of the plain baskets for you to style however your heart desires! I made mine with burlap from an old coffee bag, some velvet carrot and faux flower sprigs (Joann’s - why are you going out of business??!), and some plastic eggs we dyed last year, all dressed up with a ribbon. Easy peasy spring cuteness! (Wreath is DIY too - just wrap carrot garland around a grapevine wreath with some sprigs, ribbon, and of course, a bunny!)

Dining Room Makeover, Part 2!

The DIY IKEA BILLY Built-In Bookshelves + Desk

The hardest part of doing any project is starting it! For years we talked about doing a bookshelf wall, then one day we decided to just go for it! So we did! But then we couldn't! Because everything in the world was out of stock! (See year 2020) So we tried again later and here it is.

Supplies: 3 Billy bookcases + 3 extensions, 4 doors, and an extra shelf (for the desk), wood to frame it all out, hardware, and some paint!

If you'd like more details, please feel free to ask!
