This one was a BIG one! 😍

In fact, it's the largest quilt top we've EVER taken in for longarming!

And can we just take a minute to appreciate how absolutely beautiful it is?! The amount of time, patience, and piecing that went into creating something this incredible is just amazing.

I always love seeing the work that goes into each quilt, but this one really had me in awe! ❤️

I love quilts that make you stop and take a closer look. Every time your eyes move across the quilt, you notice something new!

That's one of my favorite parts of longarming. I get to spend a little extra time admiring all the creativity and details that go into each quilt.

The way these swirls dance around the piecing is just perfect!

Her piecing was already so beautiful, and I was thrilled to find a quilting design that complemented it without taking away from all her hard work.

It's one of those combinations that just feels like it was meant to be! ❤️

What's On The Longarm? 🧵

This one's mine! ❤️
I actually woke up in the middle of the night with an idea for this quilt, and once I put it all together, my first thought was, "WOW, this is busy!"
So naturally, I thought... why not add a busy quilting design on top of it? 😂

Now, that's not usually the direction people go with an already busy quilt, but I figured, why not give it a try?

And wouldn't you know it? The two blended together beautifully! Somehow, all that busyness worked together, and I think the quilting gave it just the perfect little pop.

Sometimes you've just gotta trust those middle-of-the-night ideas!

What's On The Longarm? 🧵

Same quilt. Same quilting design. Different thread. Completely different look!

That's one of my favorite things about thread auditioning! Just changing the thread color can give a quilt an entirely different personality.

As we discovered earlier this week, thread colors can look completely different once they're paired with your quilt top. A color that blends beautifully into one fabric might really stand out against another.

And that's the fun of it! There's not necessarily a right or wrong choice, just different ways to bring your quilt to life. ❤️
