We are, and will always be, the protecting sheepdogs of this nation’s borders regardless of the circumstances.

We have every reason to be proud of who we are no matter what.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE UNITED STATES BORDER PATROL! This 98th year has been a truly historic milestone for the Patrol.

Experiencing all-time historic record highs in illegal immigration, more rescues than in any other year prior; and more Agent deaths in this year than ever before;

Our Men and Women of the Mean Green continue to wake up every day and do their jobs. From endless processing, cutting sign, dope interdiction; protecting and assisting their communities in crisis or disaster; hell, even taking down active shooters…

We still wear our badges proudly; maintain the steadfast dedication to the oaths we swore, and uphold our rich history, heritage and legacy we inherited 98 years ago in 1924. (With a few shenanigans along the way.)

Since 1924, the very nature of this job has always been to do more with a whole lot less. And guess what? We do.

We are not a reflection of any administration. We are a reflection of our proud legacy. We know who we are, even if others do not.

We have been, we are, and always will be Border Patrol Agents; past, present, future or retired.

And for that, we can stand tall, heads held high, and be proud. Happy Birthday Brothers and Sisters;
