Again my devotion this morning was so on time. This is from Lysa Terkeurst’s “Embraced”. This is the reminder we all need as a Christian Nation. We are to lean on Him! Live in Him! ACT LIKE HIM!!!! Oh me right?
God is in control. We’ve got to take the time we would devote to worry and put it in prayer. Put your trust in him not this world.
Now I don’t mean lay around like a potato and not be about His business. That is where we all fail anyway.
Unity is our strength! The enemy does not want ANY unity. That’s why he stirs the pot anyway he can. PRAY FOR THOSE WHO ARE DIFFERENT THAN YOU. PRAY FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE DIFFERENTLY THAN YOU, THAT GOD WOULD SHOW YOU AND THEM HIS WAY!!! We have to stop laying our Christian walk down as we walk out the door of the church! We have to live our lives in a way that those who are lost realize they are just like us, sinners trying to do better; Not a bunch of snobby hypocrites! Because let me assure you, that is what the world thinks of most church goers. And that has to change! We have got to do better. We’ve got to be better. Please!
