Asking for a friend in retail…
Now well into our 5th year in business Salt & Hops is considering whether there may be another point of sale (POS) system that can better meet the needs of our growing business while saving us and our customers a few bucks along the way. Our only experience has been using Square since we opened in 2022 and now considering moving to Clover POS system. As we’re thinking through all the pros / cons of what we think we know about both systems we wanted to ask our universe of small business friends (and customers) on Instagram: Are you using Clover and if so what is your experience? We’d welcome any comments, wisdom and any other thoughts you have about POS products. If you have any experience to share please reply in comments or private message.

We’re getting a head start on the Spring and Summer season of crushable local craft brews with Todd’s 19th Hole Pale Ale brewed special for our store . This year’s collab brew features our lifelong friend, manager and business partner Todd Kirk. This delicious combo of Chinook, Amarillo, cascade, centennial and simco hops is sure to please on the golf coarse or wherever this Spring and Summer finds you. You can pick this up at our store or it tells Brewery. It’s gonna go fast so come on in and get yours today. Todd will even autograph your beer can!
