My name is Michele Sanderson and I am the artisan and owner Finish Distinction in Ogden, UT. I have a passion for furniture finishing and a love for furniture and home decor. I have been painting since 1999 when I attended the “Definitive School of Decorative Arts” in Houston, TX. My love for furniture finishing and skill has continued to grow since then. ve furniture finishes, and offers a collection of studio finishes that for centuries have been perfected by the European artisans. My finishes incorporate the latest techniques and faux finish products. These products are polymer resin water-based, non-yellowing, and non-fading. With care and maintenance in mind, many of these finishes are washable. I believe ongoing training and education is important so continue to be updated as products and techniques develop and improve.
