I love how different types of leather have different design properties. I love the look of pebble cowhide because it’s so structured and refined. Lambskin is so soft and slouchy and everything I use it for looks cozy.

Even pieces cut from the same hide behave differently. It’s a fun element that you have to account for when placing your pattern.

Guess who’s back?

I’ve got a few warm up leather pouches in production before I start one of my biggest projects yet- and boy am I glad I did my warm ups. I haven’t sewn leather in a few months because of a ~*baby*~ but it’s just like riding a bike. Only now I have a baby strapped to me at all times while riding.
