Recently picked up this WW2 USMC P44 frogskin jacket in excellent condition. After complaints from Marines about the lack of secure pockets on the P42 model the USMC added snap button chest pockets that were large enough to fit rations and other equipment to the P44. These were primarily issued to Marines late in the war.

Holding on to this for the time being.
