Ready to save a TON with a small change?
Let’s do some math.
1 medium “designer” coffee (not to mention any company names) average cost is about $7.
Assume you get 2 a week. That is $728
One every morning? That is $1,820!
If you get venti it is even more!
Now let me reintroduce the Keurig we have all put away collecting dust somewhere. Lol. Plus this little reusable k-pod (price $2.48). Fill it with your favorite coffee grounds (I like Death Wish coffee. Not for the name, but because it is 100% organic and sustainably sourced). Add your favorite creamer and you have a coffee under 50 cents per day! That is only $130 a year!
Additional bonuses!
You are not drinking from a plastic cup putting microplastics in your body. ( The average American consumes a credit card worth of plastic PER YEAR).
You are not adding plastic trash to the environment.
You are getting a healthier coffee ground (bc who knows where big companies actually get theirs from).
Pick your creamer wisely and you are not getting all the added sugars, corn syrup, dyes, and seed oils!
You are saving 5-10 min sitting in line.
You have an additional $1,690 in your pocket!
You are welcome! 🤗

You eat fruits to get healthier, but what if they’re covered in something harmful?

Studies have revealed a surprisingly effective solution. Soaking fruits in a baking soda and water mix can eliminate up to 96% of surface pesticides outperforming vinegar and plain water by a wide margin.

This matters because pesticide residues cling tightly to fruit skins, especially apples, grapes, and berries. Even thorough rinsing under tap water may not be enough. But a 15-minute soak in a simple solution of baking soda and water breaks down and neutralizes the chemicals more effectively, leaving your produce cleaner and safer to eat.

Here’s how to do it: mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda into 2 cups of water. Submerge the fruits for 12 to 15 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly. That’s it.

This doesn’t just clean. It protects. Long-term exposure to pesticide residues has been linked to hormone disruption, immune issues, and developmental effects in children. That’s why a small change in your kitchen routine can have big health benefits.

It’s not just about taste or appearance. It’s about reducing chemical intake, especially for your kids, your elders, and anyone trying to live cleaner.

So next time you bring home a basket of apples or grapes, take a few extra minutes. Soak, rinse, and protect your health.

A couple of ways I save a TON of $, but still decorate for the holiday seasons.
1. NEVER buy new unless it is under a couple $.
2. Get your decor AFTER the season is over when it is on clearance to use next year.
3. I am a big fan of the thrift store and marketplace as well. (ALWAYS haggle. Sometimes they will say no, but most of the time you will get it cheaper than their asking price).
4. Go FAUX! Annual live flowers are expensive, they add up, and they require time and add to the mental “to do” list to care for them.
I got these mums off of Shein for $7 and the bouquet I made from a bundle I got on clearance at hobble lobby plus some of the mums from Shein. The glass vase $1.50 from thrift store. The birds and the white Pumpkin were a gift from a friend.
