dunno if I posted this before. but
BEWARE of the new Health insurance scam calls..
What they are doing is calling you, asking 1 or 2 simple questions like:
which insurance company you're enrolled in?
what's your zip-code?
nothing that would seemingly trigger a phishing alert in the vigilant, but then they are transferring you to your ACTUAL insurance provider.
(or in my case the one I lied and said I used lol)
BUT THEY ARE STAYING ON THE LINE.. So they can hear all your details IF you go ahead and verify your account with your provider. by the time you and the provider's rep realizes that the company has no idea about these "special benefits" you were told about, the scammers already have all your information.
Hope no one needs this, but just be aware.
they seem to be targeting people who got their insurance from the marketplace or Medicare.
