1930s Tiffin Poppy Flower Vase - Perfect for Dad!

Uranium glass, often referred to as Vaseline glass, is a type of glassware that contains uranium oxide, which gives it a distinctive fluorescent green color under ultraviolet light. This glass was popular from the mid-19th century through the mid-20th century, particularly during the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods, for its unique aesthetic qualities and the novelty of its glow. The Tiffin Glass Company, established in Tiffin, Ohio, in 1890, was renowned for producing high-quality pressed and blown glassware. The "Poppy" pattern is one of their well-recognized designs, often found in Vaseline glass, and is highly sought after by collectors.
