Sports fans struggled to distinguish their favourite player under the assortment of brimmed straw or cotton hats worn to provide shade from the sun. The classic “Brooklyn cap” with its large brim or “bill” was first worn in 1860 by the Brooklyn Excelsiors, an amateur team, and others followed suit.

From their roots in Brooklyn to our home base in Los Angeles, our hats are for distinguishing the hustlers out there!
