im so glad i grabbed new yarn and tried again because im obsessed and i can’t wait to wear this all summer (if it ever stops raining here in Maine! ☔️)

also if anyone has any recommendations for treating acute laryngitis outside of not talking, drinking fluids, and lozenges i will take them! voice is basically nonexistent today and my throat is on fire 😭

i finished the Alyssa top by .studio and i am just blown away at how much i am in love with this top! 😍 i had so much fun testing this pattern! i was unsure on my size so it’s too big for me, but i’ll be making another that fits me so i can wear this beauty all summer!

I’ve been wanting to make a sweater for a while but the thought of not getting the gauge right and measuring things and weird stitches I’ve never done and putting pieces together just seemed daunting (and honestly just a lot of work I didn’t want to do 😂🙈).

But I found a pattern for beginners and I decided to give it a try, and here’s what I’ve done so far! It’s a bit oversized and far from perfect, but I’m so glad I decided to just start the dang thing! 🥰🧶

All that’s left is making the sleeves and I’m hoping that I can finish it this weekend because my cold days are numbered 😂

I only got one full dishcloth made with each multicolored skein, so if you see a fun colored dishcloth that you want, grab it before it’s gone!! 💛💚💙
