I started as a child, and over the years I have honed my craft through apprenticeships and years of hands on experience as a skilled seamstress. I'm inspired by the artistry of couture sewing, and strive for the same perfection of fit and quality in every garment I sew. I've always hoped to have my own business, and the arrival of

my daughter pushed me to take that plunge into self-employed life. I love connecting with my clients, working with each of their unique needs, and sewing garments that I'm proud to deliver.

I’m Katie Rose. And for the last 17ish years it’s been my job to make women look and feel amazing 😘

I made both of my weddings gowns…but I can’t be normal so I’ve actually never worn white! 🤍

I’m a widow, a wife, a mom to 2 girls, a crunchy homeschooler, wannabe homesteader, the Fairy Boobmother, and I’m the lady you call when you want to look smoking hot on your wedding day! 😄

Ideally alterations should leave a better fit or better finish than before.

Can budget limit this? Ya absolutely.

But I get ticked knowing a bride spent $300+ on a hem and got a shortcut instead of a high end finish.

So be sure to ask how your hairbraid hem will be sewn!!!

I loved this before and after on my lovely client Savannah!

She got this gorgeous high quality gown for a steal at . But there was some severe oxidation (yellowing) that could not be removed 🥺

So I made her a completely new bodice liner. Extended it into the back, and added structure. (Plus all the other alterations!)

The new color was fantastic and looked perfect on her big day!! 😍

Monica fell in love with this Pallas Couture gown on a once loved website and purchased it for a steal…

….only problem was it was too tight in the hips to even put on!

I opened the seams and pinned in some fabric so I could pattern a gusset. Then used hem remnants for fabric.

She was able to walk down the aisle in her dream couture gown 💕

And this was only phase 1 for this gown….

There’s a big price difference between a dress being made for you overseas, and a dress being completely taken apart and made to fit you like a glove here in the US.

I still have a feeeew spots left for 2026! Books for 2027 are now open too.
