This brand started from a social media post. I said, "A bit of growl, and a bit of grace." At the time, I was referring to the fact that as the only African American woman in a position of power, within a predominately White, CIS Male company (and field), and dealing with mostly privileged, White clientele. I was continuously checking myself to examine how much emotional labor that I was taking on from coworkers and customers. I was always looking for that BALANCE between making myself appear approachable, not coming off overly aggressive- YET taking no s**t and setting my boundaries. This is a balancing act that we all face in one way or another. Whether it's with our children, our partners, in our careers, or in finding just the slightest bit of alone time to just recharge for the next day. This brand is about keeping that "growl" right underneath the surface of who you are, and moving through this life maintaining an heir of "grace." That fine line between the two is where WE reside. For everyone who acknowledges the need for BALANCE in their lives, and knows that the differences between us mean nothing in the grand scheme of this vast universe. THIS IS WHERE WE RESIDE. Everything that you are, and everything that you desire already exists. It's up to YOU to decide how to wear your "Growl & Grace." The intent and idea behind our logo and branding combines two of the most mesmerizing big cats found in nature. The Spirit of the Leopard is proud and grand. It's eccentric and hard to ignore. Naturally assertive and a leader. The Spirit of the Leopard has the power to shift the energy in the room... for good or bad, which is why it's imperative to use that power for the greater good.
