The T shirt lady has had an interesting last couple of months. I was diagnosed with colo/rectal cancer, and had my surgery four weeks ago today. I am very blessed as they were able to remove it all, and it had not spread. So, for anyone thinking that doing a colonoscopy is gross and not necessary, let me tell you it is necessary and it's not bad at all. Surgery for cancer is much, much worse.
The other thing I want to say, is many times when the owner of a small business has something like this happen, it can really affect the business in a negative way. Fortunately, my crew took control and ran this place like it was their own. For three weeks I was able to have the surgery and just recuperate. I can never thank them enough.

Cox is doing some work, so we may not have any service, phone or email, from 7-3 tomorrow, the 13th.
However, I can check emails at home, so I will be working from there. Thank you, and help be thankful for technology.

The T shirt lady and staff would like to wish everyone a reflective Memorial Day weekend. Remember, that the peace and the freedom we all enjoy everyday, came at a heavy cost. Each war the USA has been involved in cost us brave brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins. As well as friends and neighbors because they all stepped forward and said the oath of their chosen armed force.
When I was in high school, decades ago, I marched in the band playing the snare drum. Down the street with a loud cadence that changed to the rap on the edge of the drum as soon as we entered the cemetery in reverence to those we marched past beneath their tombstones. Then some solemn words, a 21 gun salute and the playing of taps.
Back then, I just wanted out of my itchy band uniform and into my swim suit because we were headed to the lake. I'm not sure when I realized what this holiday really means, but now that gun salute and taps can bring tears to my eyes.
Enjoy whatever activities you have planned this weekend, but I hope you take a moment to thank and remember those who gave all.

I know, you've all been wondering why haven't we heard anything from the T shirt lady. Well, she's getting older ( that's already been established) and social media just isn't a priority. Marketing people will gasp at that, but my family, my employees and getting things ready for the accountant for taxes, have taken precedence the past couple of months.
I haven't even taken pictures of some of the really sharp stuff we've printed. I did snap one this morning of the shirts we printed for the Mercy High School annual St. Patrick's Day Lock-in. Just look at all of the schools that partake in this fun event!

Here at Ink Images Custom Apparel we love the fact that we get to print so many different designs for so many different organizations and people. Here are a couple from this week: Mercy High's Dance Clinic, and the Kiwanis Div. 20. The pictures are better when I get them taken while they're being printed, but most of the time the T shirt lady is stuck at her desk and doesn't get that done.
