10 years ago this month I opened Lion’s Mane Vintage! A decade of owning a small business. I’ve been quiet this last 6 months since the brick and mortar closed, but I hope to get back at it soon. Owning a small business isn’t for everyone. It’s thrilling, but can also be depressing and anxiety inducing when things don’t go as planned. But what I gained from owning this business far outweighs the bad. I’ve made great friends and relationships, gained confidence in my intuition, creative fulfillment, knowledge and experience in soooo many different areas. And let’s not forget the incredible vintage pieces I’ve been able to give homes (and I might have kept a few for myself too 🤫) I hope to share a little more of my daily life and vintage picking on this platform, and I may be starting an Instagram account for you to to solely shop our goods from. Thank you all for being here, I appreciate you all more than you know.

Hello all. I have some difficult news to share. We’re losing our space at 6107 Maple St. September will be our last month there. Benson has been the home of Lion’s Mane (and basically home for us) for 9.5 years, and my heart breaks to say goodbye. I don’t have another plan in place yet, but am hoping to continue the shop in some way. I will probably take a little break to ensure that the next step is the right one. If you know of any studio spaces that would be good for taking photos/pop-up events, let me know. Stay tuned for some major sales as we try and clear out the shop. All of our fixtures will also be for sale, so if you have any inquiries on any type of store fixture, just message or ask when you’re in the shop. I love you all.
