THEY ARE BACK! BRIDAL KEEPSAKES BOXES ARE HERE IN THE STANDARD SIZE!

If you are wishing for a box for your cleaned gown, or need to have the dress cleaned and boxed, please contact us for more information on the process. It's a great way to store your gown, and you still get to open the box and enjoy the beauty of the gown, and memories of the day! Boxes are, now priced at $50, for the standard size. When the larger boxes are available, a price will be posted here.

Hello Brides! Question of the week: DO I PROVIDE PRESERVATION? Here is my philosophy on preservation. Most modern gowns are made of durable fabrics that are immune to any value Preservation might have. Unless your gown is true silk, rayon, or lace custom made in Europe for you and your gown, I just do not see the need. I have opened Preserved dresses, and this is what I see. I see a bodice that looks lovely; that is what you see through the clear window. But, often the rest of the gown has been stuffed into the box, and is a mass of wrinkles, and I have seen some that still have dirt on the hems, even if they have only been boxed for a few months. This is strictly my own opinion, and if you feel that your gown should be preserved, go ahead and do it. But, you are denying yourself the pleasure of getting your dress out and enjoying its beauty, for the possibility of someone 20 years down the road wearing it. Think about how you feel about wearing an antique gown. Will it fit? Will the style be outdated? I stress, this is my personal opinion, and I have no data to prove my point. But, I personally would keep the gown clean, and enjoy being able to look at it. I would put it in some kind of box, because gowns can be weighty, and those straps under the arms cannot hold the gown's shape for years. So, use a nice, clean box, fold carefully, and put it in a safe, dry place. Enjoy your gown!
