Our Story
Landin’s Lids was inspired by Tyler, Landin’s uncle and my brother. Tyler was diagnosed with one of the rarest, doctor-baffling forms of Germ Cell/ Teratoma tumor cancer at the age of 25. Tyler endued an incredibly toxic cycle of chemo (6 days with 24 hour hour non stop chemo drip) Despite the painful treatment and stress of an uncertain future, he always had a winning smile that you see in the picture above. Through positivity , extraordinary care and some oh so sarcastic comments, he beat the cancerous onslaught that threatened his life. Tyler was always a fighter. He was actually an amateur USA 145 Ib Mauy Tia champion. He said he knew deep down that he was going to win the battle. And he did. Until 3 years later Tyler was back fighting the same life threatening opponent. On September 29th 2017 we lost an amazing person who will forever be in our hearts. With every purchase of a Landin’s Lids we give back 15% to fund further cancer research in honor of Landin’s Uncle Tyler who lost the battle.
