“Did God give us a spirit of fear?

As a young person, I’ve always been fearful of the uncertainty of my future. What will I do in life? Where would I end up? Would I ever be successful? Would I end up homeless? How would I provide for my family through tough times?

How many of us are worried or even fearful of our future to the point of stagnation? Or how many of us struggle to find peace? The Good news is God’s promise! Through Jesus Christ, God gave me his spirit to combat fear by trusting in him. God has replaced my fears by giving me his spirit that is full of power, of love, and of a SOUND MIND. As a result, I found PEACE in the uncertainty of what life may bring.

Furthermore, because fear has a detrimental grip in a person’s life, I want to encourage you that God did not give you that spirit of fear you may be struggling with. However, God wants to set you free from it. He wants to give you PEACE that surpasses all understanding amidst crazy times, PEACE that you don’t have to keep struggling to re-fill, and he wants to give you a SOUND MIND. Sounds crazy? Come and see.. what do you have to lose?”
