Happy Mother's Day to each of you! I hope everyone is having an amazing day and feeling so loved!
Today, we only sang one song and it was a mash up of a few songs...part of it went like this....
🎵 I see the evidence of your goodness all over my life...I see your promises in fulfillment all over my life...🎵
Well today it hit me different, I looked out and saw my husband, daughter and bonus son (stepson) out in the crowd and I just couldn't help but be so thankful, God is faithful!
A lot of you don't know my story, I was born and raised in Pentecost. I left the church around 20yrs old and didn't find my way back until 25yrs old. I'm a prodigal.
I come from a blended family and married a man who already had two sons. Was always told by doctors that I probably wouldn't be able to have children but God blessed me and I had my miracle baby in 2014.
A few years into my marriage (2015) my husband started drifting away from church...the fade was slow but still happening. Middle of 2018 he started attending with me again, 2019 he was traveling every other week for a week at a time, 2020 he stopped attending. Fast forward to 2023, after attending 2 church services with me and my daughter, he prayed back through and received the Holy Ghost again! My family was RESTORED!
In the past 6-8 months, my bonus son started attending church with us! God is still working on him but I'm believing for his salvation!
For all the women whose husbands aren't in church or has a prodigal child, don't give up, keep praying! God is still RESTORING!
I'm so thankful today to see His goodness and promises in fulfillment over my life!
I know this was a LONG read but hopefully it's encouraging another woman out there struggling to hold her family together and be the spiritual leader. Just know you're not alone, God does hear your prayers, restoration is on the way! 💜
