Rest In Peace to all Jamaica Americans and all of our fallen heroes on this Memorial Day.

Sgt. 1st Class Neil Armstrong Prince, a 35-year-old from Baltimore was killed in Iraq on June 11, 2005. Born in Jamaica, Sergeant Prince immigrated to Baltimore with his family at the age of 10.

We remember and honor those who gave their all today and everyday.

President Obama is one of two U.S. Presidents to have had an official visit of Jamaica while in office so far. President Ronald Reagan visited in April, 1982.

President Obama attended a CARICOM meeting and made plenty of engaging stops along the way.

Today marks the 40th anniversary of the passing of the legendary Bob Marley.

He died from melanoma, a form of skin cancer at the age of 36 years old.
