This is what a public space is supposed to look like. 🌿

Free summer camps with transportation and meals. Free golf every week for any kid under 18. A middle school golf league. Mentorship. Life skills. A real shot at a college scholarship.

That’s what Corica Park built — right here in Alameda, CA.

We started Public Drip because public spaces made us. The municipal gems, the open gates, the honor boxes — these places gave us community, self-expression, and a platform to be seen. Corica Park is exactly that for thousands of kids and the community in the East Bay. And right now, it’s all at risk.

The City of Alameda has spent over $2 million in taxpayer dollars on a lawsuit against Greenway Golf, the locally owned operator that created every single one of these programs. Trial starts May 18.

This isn’t about a golf course. It’s about who public spaces are actually for — and whether we let a small group of people take that away from the public athletes who need them most.

Feeling incredibly thankful to have been invited to be part of the Mastercard Small Business Summit in NYC. Every session was inspiring, insightful, and a reminder of how powerful the small business community can be.

Beyond the conversations and panels, one of the best parts was connecting with fellow entrepreneurs, hearing their stories, and being part of the Small Business Marketplace alongside so many passionate brands and founders.
