BLK Hanger BLK Hanger is a curated collection of handmade goods. Our mission is to empower female founders of by BLK Hanger—and merchandise purchased at wholesale.

Our vision is to provide high-quality sustainable goods to our clients while shining a light on brands owned by women of color. BLK Hanger will house clothing and accessories—including my handmade brand Made. Inventory will also include home goods and skincare. In short, we want our clients to be drawn to something in our inventory that they can’t live without.

A common objective for Black entrepreneurs to create their own products and open their own businesses is to provide products and services that are staples of their own cultures. From restaurants to hair products, supporting Black entrepreneurs over chain companies and large corporations allows the profits to fund businesses that authentically honor and respect Black culture, rather than attempt to profit off of it. ​​​​​​​​

More precisely, Latin American and African American women business owners are, without any doubt, the fastest-growing companies. The most recent small business owners statistics show that there were 2.1 million Latina-owned businesses and 36,800 Hawaiian-owned companies.

Entrepreneurship is key to boosting earnings for Black women and reducing the racial wealth gap. Reducing the wage gap for Black women translates to a huge win for our entire economy, with the potential to create 1.2 to 1.7 million U.S. jobs and increase GDP to $300 to $525 billion, according to Goldman Sachs.​​​​​​​​
