If you don’t create a dimple when tying your knot, then please do us all a favor and don’t wear a tie at all. And also, please stick to the four-in-hand. It’s classy, minimalistic, creates some “spretz,” and just looks so much better.

And most guys who create a big, juicy double Windsor always wear it with tiny collars and short point lengths, which look absurd.

Andrew got told no, more than once, by multiple “clothiers” or “custom tailors” here in Orlando, Fl.

We said… let’s see.

Andrew at Practical Imagination came to us with an idea most people wouldn’t even attempt. Inspired by the iconic pattern at Orlando International Airport, he wanted something bold for a major creative gala here in Orlando.

So we built it. From scratch.

Then we pushed it further:
- Right front panel — replaced.
- Chest pocket — reworked.
- Trouser stripe — added.
- Bow tie — custom made.

Not subtle. Not safe. Exactly the point.

This is what happens when you work with actual clothiers, not order-takers.

It doesn’t. It starts with understanding the body wearing it.

In these images, Carl is reading posture and analyzing shoulder slope, which are two of the most overlooked (yet critical) elements in suit tailoring. And importantly, these are just a few examples of the essential readings that go into creating a truly custom garment.
