Tee’s by T is an online t-shirt line established in August 2015 by owner, LaTrese Bedford. The sole purpose of starting this business was to create an additional stream of income to be able to pursue the dream of giving back to the community. Bedford contemplated on methods to produce revenue in addition to her 9 to 5 career in the mortgage industry to work with teen girls in the community. In 201

6, the first initiative created was “Shirts for Scholarships”, inspired by one of Tee’s by T customers, who posted their picture on Facebook with this caption showing their support. In 2017, Tee’s by T, will award a minimum of two ($500) scholarships to the candidate(s) that meet the specified criteria. After creating the first shirt, “God’s Plan”, Mrs. Bedford continued to look for inspiration for additional designs and researched a variety of brands of shirts, with the goal of fulfilling the mission of Tee’s by T. Tee’s by T mission is to provide quality, stylish, and comfortable shirts for those who care to express themselves through t-shirts. Tee’s by T offers a variety of designs including inspirational, motivational, and self-expression that can be worn casually or up styled with a blazer, jacket, and other accessories. While Tee’s by T creates original designs, they also cater to religious groups, clubs, and other social groups who need shirts for various events.
