A little piece of Cape Cod made its way to Jersey!

The Dunes for Days hoodie was inspired by those days at Nauset when the dunes seem to go on forever and you never really want to leave. It makes me so happy knowing that a design inspired by one of my favorite Cape places is now being worn somewhere beyond the Cape.

Sandy Neck is one of those places that just feels unmistakably Cape Cod. The dunes, the marsh, that seemingly endless stretch of beach and, of course, the ORV trail. Seeing Sandy Neck from above really puts into perspective just how incredible that whole stretch of coastline is. Between the aerial view and looking at the ORV map, I started thinking about how much of the Sandy Neck experience is tied to those beach rides and all the little details that are instantly familiar if you’ve spent time out there. That became the inspiration behind this design. I wanted it to have the feel of an old Sandy Neck permit or beach badge, with the ORVs, dunes, water and sunset worked into it. Something that felt nostalgic and familiar to the people who know and love Sandy Neck.

I thought it would be fun to share a little of the inspiration behind this one instead of just the finished design. Would love to know what you think! 👇

Cape Cod gives me inspiration pretty much everywhere I look. 💙 The marshes, the water, the beaches and all the little places that make the Cape feel like the Cape.

This newest design is for Gray’s Beach in Yarmouth Port, or as the locals know it, Bass Hole. 🌊
