I missed a couple of posts yesterday afternoon, so I thought I would let you guys in on how things are going

Something Blue Before I Do is done and ready for a final check (keep in mind. I haven’t made any signage or games yet)

What I have for One in a Melon is done (This is a new 1st birthday collection coming soon!)

I am now working on Three is so Sweet (the strawberry collections it’s mostly done, but then my laptop decided it was naptime)

 Give me another couple of weeks and my catalogue will be fully functional!

Today is World Red Cross Day, and I have a story I want to share. ❤️

Most people have heard the term "Donut Dollies" but don't really know who these women were or what they did. During the Vietnam War, hundreds of female American Red Cross workers deployed overseas as part of the Supplemental Recreational Activities Overseas program. The standards to qualify were higher than the military's — they had to be at least 25, college-educated, physically fit, and have an outstanding personality.

They weren't there to hand out donuts. They were there to remind exhausted, traumatized service members that someone gave a damn. They traveled by helicopter, truck, and jeep to reach troops in forward areas. They slept in bunkers during aerial attacks. They comforted those who had seen the horrors of war up close. And many of the troops they came to know were injured or killed. USDA
One of those women is Evans — and she is my dad's best friend from Vietnam. She has been a part of our family for as long as I can remember, and I can tell you firsthand that she is one of the most loving, supportive, and flat-out badass women I have ever had the privilege of knowing. She deserves every bit of recognition she gets and then some.

May is Celiac Disease Awareness Month. 💚

Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder that affects approximately 1% of the population — over 3 million Americans — yet an estimated 83% are undiagnosed or misdiagnosed. People with a first-degree relative with celiac disease have a 1 in 10 risk of developing it themselves. On average, individuals wait 6–10 years to receive a proper diagnosis.

There is no cure. The only treatment is a strict, lifelong gluten-free diet.

Today is Fentanyl Awareness Day and I need to talk about something that drives me absolutely crazy 😤

The misinformation floating around social media about fentanyl is genuinely dangerous — and it needs to stop

Let's be clear:
Pharmaceutical fentanyl — the kind used in hospitals, epidurals, post-surgical pain management, and cancer care — is a carefully dosed, medically supervised medication that has been used safely for decades. If your doctor or anesthesiologist used it during a procedure, you were not in danger from that.

Illicitly manufactured fentanyl — the kind showing up in street drugs — is an entirely different crisis. It is being pressed into counterfeit pills and mixed into other drugs without the user's knowledge. It is incredibly potent and the margin between a dose and a lethal dose is razor thin.

These are not the same thing. Conflating them spreads fear, discourages people from accepting legitimate medical care, and distracts from the real conversation we need to be having.

The real conversation: never use street drugs or pills that didn't come from a pharmacy. If you or someone you love is struggling, reach out — SAMHSA's helpline is free, confidential, and available 24/7:
