What an incredible night of education at the salon! ✨✂️

Today we had the pleasure of learning from the talented Donovan Mills, who shared his unique approach to creating a beautiful layered haircut using triangle sections. It was fascinating to see how geometry and precision can come together to create such amazing movement and shape in the hair.

The best part? Our very own Macey was the model! 💕 She was an absolute rockstar in the chair, and it was so much fun watching the haircut come to life step by step.

As a cosmetologist and educator, I truly believe that continuing education is one of the most important investments we can make in ourselves and our clients. Days like today remind me why I love this industry so much, there is always something new to learn, create, and share.

Thank you, Donovan, for an inspiring class, and thank you, Macey, for being such a fantastic model! We had a blast and walked away with new techniques, fresh inspiration, and a renewed passion for our craft.

Before heading to the pool or beach, try this simple skin-protection routine:

💧 Rinse your skin with fresh water first, Hydrated skin is less likely to absorb as much chlorine or salt water.

🧴 Apply a moisturizer – This helps create a protective barrier and locks in hydration.

☀️ Finish with a thick layer of broad-spectrum SPF sunscreen, Protect your skin from harmful UV rays while enjoying the water.

After swimming:

🚿 Wash off chlorine or salt water thoroughly as soon as possible.
