Part 3.
This is the audio of what took place after I said I was calling the police at the end of video part 2.
I told them as they were walking out that my store was doing what Jesus would have done: help everyone in need. That made them very angry. (context for why I am heard shouting about Jesus in this video)
I have 8.5 years of Catholic school under my belt. The nuns at my school taught us that Jesus was empathetic. That's why I held the door for those women. Empathy.
Jesus flipped the tables of those hoarding wealth in the temple. He helped those with the least. He did not judge. He simply helped, whenever and wherever he could. Even at detriment to himself.
I'm agnostic, but to me, that seems like a good way to live regardless of your faith or how you vote.
As Mr Rogers so wisely said: Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping."
I don't know about you, but I don't plan to stop helping people.
Doing what is right is not always free from consequence
