SHOP ANNOUNCEMENT
We want to thank you for the past 9 years of business and friendship. It has meant the world to us. Unfortunately, this business has grown larger than us. We love doing custom art. But the demands of it is taking a toll on my personal health. We've always been upfront with our long ship times. Up to 90 days. We know that is a long wait to ask. But it is policy.
Over the past year, I've received more mean messages and threatening messages about wait time than I have over the course of 9 years. Most people are cut out for handling that kind of aggression. I am not. My stomach has been in severe pain for 8 months. My clinical anxiety is at an all time high. I've lost all joy in creating. Which, is not fair to anyone wanting a pair of painted shoes. I cannot create something nice if my heart isn't in it. I look at my paints and want to cry.
So for now, it is good bye. I will leave our Instagram and page open for now in case any regulars would like to reach out for shoes. But I'll be shutting down our shops over the course of this weekend.
Thank you all again for the past wonderful years. We have loved creating shoes for you. - Rowan
