A message from Fatma Konyalioglu of Fatma's Alterations:

"This is one of the hardest posts I've ever had to write. For the past 28 years, you’ve been my family and home-away-from home. The friendships and relationships I’ve made through my business will be cherished forever.

Even though it’s bittersweet, the time has come for me to retire. Fatma Alterations will close on August 31. Thank you all for your patronage and trust in me to be a small part of your celebrations—from weddings to galas, or just a fitting to make you look and feel as special as you are.

While I’m excited for this new chapter in my life, it comes with the heartache of leaving behind dear friends—at least at my shop. I’ll be spending my time between my home in Turkey and here in Kansas City.

So this isn’t goodbye, but rather see you later!
