To be honest, my 30s have been the most trying era of my life. So much loss, sadness, and life changes that somewhere along the way, I lost pieces of myself.

But now, at 37, I’m choosing something different. I’m choosing Happiness!!❤️

Cheers to finding myself again, enjoying life, cherishing the little moments, embracing love, surrounding myself with great friends, creating beautiful memories, and appreciating the people who genuinely love and support me.

Well, today is July 14. Two years have gone by, and the pain is still unbearable.

Mom, I wish I could turn back the hands of time. I wish I could have one more phone call, one more hug, one more conversation with you.

There isn’t a single day that goes by that I don’t think about you. It’s so crazy how a smell, a song, a laugh, anything and everything, can instantly remind me of you.

As I’m sitting here planning my wedding, I can’t help but wish you were here to be a part of it. I wish I could call you for advice, not just about the wedding, but about being a parent. Losing you has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to face. When you left, it felt like I went from being a child who had both parents to having none.

Your death left a place in my heart that can never be replaced. I don’t know if this pain will ever truly ease, but what I do know is that I love you so much, and I am forever grateful that God chose you to be my mom.

I will forever post about you. I will forever talk about you. I will forever say your name on holidays and special occasions;not for attention, but to honor the incredible woman you were. You were one of a kind. Your love, your strength, and your presence are unforgettable, and I will never stop missing you.

I miss you more than words could ever express, and I hope I’m making you proud every single day.
