It's Saturday, and I'm thinking about the women building businesses while carrying burdens no one else can see.

The women showing up to work, or putting extra hours in their weekend to accomplish her goals, raising families, serving others, chasing dreams, and wondering if they're making any progress at all.

We're often our own toughest critics, right?

We expect immediate results.
We replay our mistakes.
We compare our timelines.
We mistake slow growth for failure.

But grace changes everything.

Grace says, "𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴."

Grace reminds us that roots grow before fruit appears.

Grace allows us to trust the process instead of trying to control it.

I'm reminded of this in chapter 4 of my book 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙂𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙛 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝙂𝙍𝙄𝙏.

Maybe the greatest kindness we can offer ourselves is the same kindness God has already extended to us.

The freedom to learn.
The permission to heal.
The patience to grow.
The peace to believe that our story is still unfolding.

There is something incredibly healing about living from a place of grace instead of striving.

You make wiser decisions.
You stop chasing everyone else's timeline.
You begin building from purpose instead of pressure.

So if your world feels more shattered today than whole, know that it's okay to be kind to yourself.

Healing isn't weakness.
Patience isn't failure.
And God's timing has never been late.

Little by little, He is building something beautiful in you.

Keep rising. 💛✨

The strongest women I know aren't necessarily the ones who moved the fastest.

They're the ones who learned patience without losing hope.

The ones who kept believing without giving up.

The ones who turned hard seasons into steady faith.

That's resilience.

And it's one of the most beautiful forms of courage you'll ever see. ✨

Real courage isn't always loud.

Sometimes it's staying faithful when the answer takes longer than expected.

Sometimes it's showing up again after disappointment.

Sometimes it's trusting God when the timeline doesn't make sense.

That's where resilience is born.

Not in the breakthrough.

But in the waiting.

In the continuing.

In the quiet decision to keep moving forward one more day.

Keep going my resilient friend. You've got this. 💛✨

When I say “t𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁,” ✨ I’m talking about a woman who shows up fully, lives honest, creates boldly, speaks truth, and walks in who God created her to be.

You don't need a perfect video, perfect outfit, perfect hair.. or anything else social media leads you to think... you just need a willing boldness to be who you are called to be.

Light shifts atmospheres.
Light exposes what’s hidden.
Light leads the way for someone else to find their footing.

📖 “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5 (In other words, the 𝘎𝘪𝘧𝘵 inside you is unstoppable.)

That means your light isn’t fragile… it’s powerful. 💛

So share your story.
Start that business.
Live as your true self.

𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹—you’re here to shine in a way that changes things.

My book “W𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘎𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘧 𝘔𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘴 G𝘙𝘐𝘛” drops 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟮, and this message runs deep through every page—learning to carry light even in the hardest seasons, and discovering the strength to keep showing up with purpose. Preorder here: whengriefmeetsgrit.com

This is your reminder:
Don’t blend in… instead, break through. 💫

It’s fascinating to me how Scripture continues to prove true in ways science is only now catching up to. 💛

“A cheerful heart is good medicine…”
“Rejoice always…”

At first glance, those verses can almost feel like a paradox in hard seasons.
How do you rejoice when life feels heavy?
How does joy help when you’re walking through something difficult?

But research now shows that smiling and joy actually help regulate the nervous system, lower stress responses, and shift the brain and body toward healing.

In other words… rejoicing changes more than your mood.
It changes your body too.

What’s especially meaningful to me is that I filmed this video a while back — before realizing just how much I would personally need the reminder during a recent healing journey of my own.

Funny how God works like that sometimes.

Joy isn’t pretending life is perfect.
It’s choosing hope anyway.
Choosing gratitude anyway.
Choosing to believe light still exists even in difficult seasons.

And maybe that’s why rejoicing has always been so powerful. ✨

“You’ve outgrown playing small… so remind yourself by how you dress.” 💛✨

There comes a point where the old version of you no longer fits.

The shrinking.
The second-guessing.
The hiding in the background while everyone else steps forward.

And sometimes the first sign of growth is realizing you’re tired of dressing like you’re still waiting for permission.

Not because clothes define your worth.
But because what you wear can reflect the confidence, intention, and direction you’re finally stepping into.

You’ve survived too much, learned too much, and grown too much to keep showing up like your life is staying small.

Dress for the woman who is building.
Leading.
Creating.
Healing.
Becoming.

Because the truth is… your presence often speaks before you do. 💛

The women who inspire me most aren’t the ones who’ve had the easiest lives.

They’re the ones who kept going after disappointment.

The ones who rebuilt after loss.

The ones who cried, prayed, doubted, healed, learned, and still showed up anyway.

Resilience has a different kind of beauty to it.

It’s quiet strength.
Steady faith.
The courage to keep rising when life tries to convince you to stay down.

And honestly?
That kind of woman carries a presence you can feel.

Not because she’s perfect.
But because she’s been through something… and didn’t let it destroy who she was becoming.

So if this season feels heavy, remember this:

You do not need perfection to walk in purpose.
You just need the willingness to keep getting back up. 💛
