Most of my designs tell a story and are inspired by my life, my dad was a storyteller so I was raised to appreciate a good story here's the story behind this design:
I'm a sensitive soul, pain and suffering affect me deeply and I find myself very discouraged in our world today. My amazing daughter has been through a lot in her 18 years and is wise beyond her years. She caught me in a moment I was having and gave me this sound advice: "Survive out of spite!" Thus this patch was born. I think we call all understand the tenacity of the dandelion growing thru a crack in concrete, and I hope you find encouragement and humor in this design. On a side note, my other idea was to make the image of a cockroach LOL!

Been a cool minute since I've updated, I have several new files in my store! Mostly stand alone in the hoop projects that would make nice gifts. Here's one of my latest! A Polka Dot Begonia plant! I love these plants, but with a cat that likes to snack on delicate leaves, I'm not sure it would be a good idea, he's left this one alone lol!
