B-Goth Boutique B-Goth Boutique is a work in progress, but we anticipate a production clothing line by 2013. "B-Goth Boutique - Where dark meets dope."

B-Goth Boutique is a Missouri-based apparel company specializing in functional active-wear that combines classical Gothic and retro-hip-hop styling with comfort and performance considerations traditionally found only in athletic apparel. Early work will include assembled looks AND original pieces integrating elements of traditional-Hip-Hop/B-boy, Gothic, Neo-Victorian, Punk, Derby, Cyber and Stea

m styles into functional active-wear and protective gear. Clothing lines will appeal to street dancers, derby skaters, stage performers, cos-players, and urban dark-wavers with an eye for style and a need for functional design and quality build.

I know I need to spend less time toying around with cheeky branding ideas, and actually start looking for working seamstresses and small-scale manufacturing solutions, but I just can't resist sharing this little nod to the music of my adolescence. (If you don't get the reference, don't worry about it. And yes, this is the 2010 reissue album art. Apparently the original hot pink cover art was lost, and NO ONE has a hi-res digitized version anymore.)

Looks like something is FINALLY going to start happening with this project. Looks like socks will be the first wave of retail items available. Anybody interested is some B-goth knee socks to wear while you play derby, or just rock your knickers? Let me know.

Thanks, everyone, for the new "likes" these past few weeks. Looks like a lot of artistic-minded people, too. That's wonderful! As posted earlier, this project has been suspended due to pressing obligations in other areas of life. But in December we will hit the ground running with prototype-to-production goals for Summer 2013. I can't wait to tackle this project.
