🦠🚫 Everyone’s on high alert right now to avoid germs, and hand sanitizer is becoming a hot commodity, even completely sold out in some areas, so I thought I share an easy DIY so you can stay home and make your own this weekend.
🥣This recipe is alcohol-free (so it won’t dry out your hands) and should make the perfect amount to refill one of those pocket-sized sanitizer bottles.
💧3 TBSP Aloe Vera Gel
💧1.5 TBSP Witch Hazel
💧0.5 TSP Vitamin E Oil (optional)
💧5-10 drops Thieves Essential Oil Blend
*OR*
Melrose Essential Oil Blend

(Want a blend with Alcohol instead? Just sub it for the witch hazel in this recipe)

Elderberry Syrup - who makes their own? 🙋‍♀️ I just made my first batch the other day, and it's so much lovelier (and more affordable) than the store bought! Here's the recipe I used:

*2/3 cup dried elderberries

*3.5 cups water

*1 cup raw local honey

*1 drop cinnamon bark vitality

*1 drop ginger vitality

*1 drop clove vitality

(Find those through the link in profile)

Bring the elderberries to a boil and then simmer for about an hour.

Remove from heat, let cool, and strain.

Once cool, add honey and vitality oils.

Store in a 16 oz jar in the fridge.
