To our valued patients and customers,

Due to the escalating COVID 19 situation, we have made the challenging decision to close our office from Saturday, March 21 to Tuesday, April 6. It is a very difficult decision, but we are all obligated to put public safety and health as top priority, so that we can overcome this pandemic soon. In the case of an ocular emergency (eg. eye infection, ocular pain, sudden decreased vision), you can reach Dr. Xiao Xiao at (650)321-3382. Our team is also reachable through email communication Monday through Friday. We appreciate your patience and understanding for any delayed email replies during this special time. We hope to resume patient care and business hours on Tuesday, April 7th, 2020, but will keep you updated on any changes via email.

In an abundance of caution, we should all stay at home, and only go out for essential activities. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we overcome this together! We want you to always know that you will be safe and cared for in our office.

Dear Uber Eyes Patients and Customers,

After the "shelter in place" order yesterday, California Optometric Association strongly recommended that optometrists practicing in California voluntarily suspend nonessential or nonurgent optometry care for the next 14 days. After serious consideration, we have made the challenging, proactive decision to suspend all frame select, adjustment and repair for the next 14 days until April 1st. Our office hours will also be adjusted for the next 14 days, as we will be closed on Saturdays March 21 and March 28. Business hours remain the same for all other days.

At this time, our team is closely following CDC and government public health guidelines, and continue to serve you as much as we can via phone and email. We will limit our service to all walk-in customers at least for the next 14 days. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time. Please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or email if you have any concerns or questions.

Dear Uber Eyes patients and customers,

As you may have heard, the State of California has just ordered calls for all "routine medical appointments' and elective procedures to be canceled or rescheduled. In response to the request, we will not be able to see you for a routine or non-urgent exam for the next 3 weeks until Tuesday April 7th, 2020.

We apologize for the inconvenience this causes, but the safety and health of our patients, our team, and our greater community come first! At this time, our store will remain open with regular hours, to assist you with glasses/contact lenses pick up and order; however, we do encourage you to postpone your non-urgent visit for the next 14 days, especially if you are ill with any flu-like symptom, in close contact with someone ill, or have traveled outside the U.S or California. Our staff is at the ready, via phone or email, to assist you with your needs.

In the office, our team is taking proactive measures to conduct additional and frequent cleaning, with special attention to high touch areas, such as table counters, chairs and door handles. All frames and equipment will be disinfected before and after each usage. Dr. Xiao and all staff will wear face mask and disposable nitrile gloves when assisting you.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we overcome this together. We will continue to provide updates to you with any unforeseen changes in the near future. At the same time, we encourage you to do your part to keep the virus from spreading. We hope you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy, and very much look forward to serve you normally again!

Our office will close early this Wednesday at 5:30pm, and will be closed for the rest of the week for Thanksgiving holiday. We will be back to our normal business hours on Monday 12/2/2019. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
