Hi J. Foss friends and family, it’s been a little while since we posted last.

As most of you know, we lost our beloved Janet Foss here on earth back in April 2021. It’s been tough on all of us as you know she was such a gift to us. She loved all of her customers so much, you were all so very special to her and the store was truly her happy place. Everyone she met was affected by her, usually in long lasting ways, most always brightening their spirits, bringing healing to wounded souls and bringing cheer wherever she goes. We are so grateful for the everlasting memories she left with us.

Today we wanted to wish her a very happy heavenly birthday, wishing she was here so we could celebrate with her. Give a toast for Janet today on her birthday, we know she’ll be smiling down! ♥️

Yesterday was the last day of our ‘End of an Era’ sale and we closed the doors to the store that we all have loved for the past 32 years. We are blown away by the love and support you all have shown during this bittersweet process ♥️ It was such a beautiful day full of love and memories, even a special surprise visit from our Janet Foss! You all made her soooo happy, as has the love you have shown during this time. We truly lucked out with the most special customers, turned friends, turned family. Thank you to all who bid on the coveted wreath that hung in our store for 25 years- Special shout out to Mimi who got to take it home with her after falling in love with it 25 years ago! To our customers, vendors, designers, delivery friends and neighbors: Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for the everlasting memories and letting us be apart of your lives for so many years! End of our first week of Store Closing Sale.... WHAT a WEEK!!!! First, the love is hard to put into words.. Thank you to ALL who came by, wrote notes, brought flowers and... SHOPPED!! It was crazy!! Now, we have sold a lot and unearthed a lot more!!!! So don’t think it’s all gone, it’s not- we will be open at 10-6 Monday- Saturday and 12-4 Sunday. We KNOW you’ve missed some great pieces (you just couldn’t see it all before ;-) now you can!!! Here are a few photos of our darling customers finding seriously great pieces waaaaaayyyy marked down!! Jamie Takahashi, Molly Agras and Marsha Jordan (in VINTAGE J Foss leather barn jacket!! Yikes!!) Still holds up 👍🏻
