Had our first annual big daddy memorial offshore trip today in honor of my father who passed recently. For those of you who don’t know the backstory behind wetlands, I started the brand to raise money for my dad’s kidney surgery. We were blessed to have a man who has become family to us donate a kidney to my dad and gift him another six years of life with his family. His name is Ruben and today he caught the fish of his life. We spread my dad’s ashes on the water he loved so much and had a great eight hour trip on the Ballistic II out of Captain Anderson’s Marina. Ruben caught a slab 36” and Jason Kelly caught what was very possibly a state record . it was honestly the biggest trigger I’ve ever seen. What a great day to remember my dad.
