Hi babes, I’m Chrys! I felt like I needed to introduce myself and let you get to know more about this little heart dream of mine!
I’m wife to my biggest supporter, my husband and best friend, Michael. I’m also a Mom/Bonus Mom to 6 of the most amazing kiddos I know! We reside in sunny Panama City, Fl where you’ll find us soaking up the island sun on the boat or relaxing on the beach on our days off.
This place we call home, quickly became a little slice of heaven and where peace resides for us.
I’m a lover of Jesus, making others smile and bringing some added joy to everyone I come into contact with! Loving others and sharing Jesus is my passion in life. It is who he has called me to be and I truly try everyday, to wake up with the mentality of, “How can I be more and love more like Jesus today?”.
I know most are wondering what “Forty Six: Five” is and what it means. It’s simple really, but holds such a deep meaning in my heart.
Psalm 46:5– “God is within her, she will not fail.”
If I’m being totally transparent, I‘ve been terrified of almost everything there is possibly imaginable to be afraid of, my entire life. Especially failing. In 2013, I left a 9 year relationship/marriage and had this verse tattooed on my wrist, so that when I became a single mom and doubt crept in, I would be reminded by looking down, that I can do anything as long as I put God first and in front of whatever it was that I was up against. When I started searching for names for the boutique, I was at a loss. But then, when fear started to creep in, I looked down.
And so… “Forty Six: Five” was born. A little heart dream God had given me so very long ago. While it has taken quite a few years to step out on faith and many speed bumps later to get here, here we are.
While it may not be how I envisioned starting out this little dream of mine, it never really is when God is concerned honestly… He has his own plan and sometimes, just taking the leap is the first step to him paving His plan out for our lives.
This boutique means much more than selling clothes to me, it’s a place that I can reach others by sharing my love of Jesus, a community and a place that I pray brings joy to your heart.
I don’t know where I would be without my “tribe”, my commmunity of women who have prayed me through some of the roughest transitions in my life. Without them, some days I would be lost.
I pray that’s what you find here too. Not just a place to find all the cute deals and steals, but a place where you can find a group of women who will love/pray you through whatever it is you are going through.
