Guam is east of Manila, Philippines (by 1,551 miles) and west of Hawaii (by 3,800 miles).

We are "Where America's Day Begins!", as we are a U.S. territory and we are a day ahead of the U.S. mainland.

We are the closest US soil to Asia and this makes it so ideal for traveling to destinations like Japan, Thailand, Manila, Korea, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Singapore. These are just a few hours away by plane.

Guam is part of the Micronesia region and the largest of the Mariana Islands.
