3 days in London. 9 miles a day.
One carry-on… and a few really good decisions.

We did all of it — the bucket list sights, long walking days, Windsor, and even a soccer match in Fulham. And as full as it all was, I wouldn’t change a thing.

But what really made the trip feel easy (and honestly, more chic) had nothing to do with having more.

It was knowing what works.

Comfortable, low-profile sneakers that could actually keep up
Simple layers — a trench, a scarf, sunglasses — the pieces that instantly pull everything togetherNeutral basics underneath, all from my own closet, nothing new or overthought
Switching small accessories (a different bag, a different pair of sunglasses) to change the feel without overpacking

And one thing I’ll always do now — bring an extra foldable bag.Because somehow… you always come home with more than you left with.

I think we’re told we need new outfits, more options, more everything to feel put together — especially on a trip.

But it’s really the opposite.

When you edit it down, when you choose pieces that move with you and feel like you… that’s when it all clicks.

That’s what effortless actually looks like.

Not perfect. Not brand new.Just thoughtful, comfortable, and confidently your own.

I used to think there was a timeline for dreams.
That at some point, you either “made it” or you missed your chance.

But here’s the truth… there is no deadline.

At 47, I see things differently.
The doubts, the “no’s,” the people who don’t get it—they don’t stop you.
If anything, they can push you harder… if you let them.

Because here’s what I’ve learned by actually going for it…
I finally opened the boutique of my dreams, .
I finally started designing the jewelry in my head,
And everyday I’m honored to go on live television for the coolest brand and handbag designer

None of it was perfect.
None of it was easy.
And none of it happened by waiting until I felt “ready.”

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You don’t need perfect.
You just need to start.

Do the hard things.
Try something new.
Create even when it feels uncomfortable.
And when you fail (because you will), learn from it and keep going.

Nothing meaningful comes from staying where it’s safe.

So if there’s something on your heart—something you keep thinking about—this is your sign.
Go after it.

Not someday.
Now.

Choose yourself.
Choose growth.
Choose happy.
