On November 12th Western Slope Fibershed was fortunate to have Jean Howe from 'Threads of Life' visiting family in Paonia. Her presentation at The Hearth featured the work Jean and her husband. William Ingram, have been doing since 1998 with over 1000 traditional women weavers and dyers on 12 different Indonesian islands. After years of fascination, interest and coordination Kate Linehan has started the Western Slope Fibershed Affiliate group here in the North Fork Valley

The Western Slope Fibershed has received a grant from this parent organization to help set up our website and support
upcomingworkshops and events in 2023.
