After much thought, I’m sharing some bittersweet news…I will be closing my clothing business, The Shop on Wood Street.

Almost 10 years ago, I started this little home-based business hoping to be a bit more present in the lives of my kiddos. I never could have imagined it growing into a brick-and-mortar shop that brought so much joy and light into my life, all because of the incredible women in my hometown and beyond who supported me every step of the way.

Over the past couple of years, there have been many ups and downs. Life became fuller and busier with the sweet little girl (who loved climbing in all the boxes) in this picture and her brother, and my priorities naturally shifted. While my heart never left this business, I did step away fully about a year ago — selling a few things here and there and placing the occasional order just to stay connected.

Letting go hurts more than I can put into words, but it’s time to officially say goodbye to this little business I love so deeply.

Starting Wednesday, we will reopen the doors at 807 East Wood Street in Paris for a week or so with 50% (or more!) off shop-wide as I work to clear out inventory. I’ll be posting open hours soon.
