The Jodie Lace Skort has a story behind it.

End of last year I was going through inventory. A basic white skirt wasn’t selling like the others. Couldn’t figure out why, until I looked at it properly and realised it looked like something any big golf brand could sell. Nothing that made it mine.

So I started thinking about how to change that. Embroidery was too expensive. Dying the fabric wasn’t going to work, wrong fabric, too much time, too much cost.

Then my mom and I went to the local fabric store. She found this scalloped lace and knew straight away it belonged on the hem.

She still sews it on herself, by machine and by hand, on every skirt.

It doesn’t add to the cost. It means everything to me.
