Today the Washington County Jail’s I.G.N.I.T.E. (Inmate Growth Naturally and Intentionally Through Education) program was highlighted by WTAP News. The program has now been active for over a year and is continuing to measure positive outcomes through education, recovery support, life skills development, peer mentorship, and reentry-focused programming.

Peer Solutions is proud to continue partnering with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and other community organizations as part of the solution. We believe that recovery, accountability, education, and hope can change lives, and we are grateful to be able to walk alongside individuals as they prepare for successful reentry.

A special thank you to Sheriff Mark Warden, Lt. Dustin Timberman, Nurse Director Amber McCray, the Washington County Jail staff, and all of the agencies, volunteers, and community partners who continue investing in people and believing that change is possible.
