Recently I’ve been drawn towards [counted] cross stitching… in my younger years I’ve done a few designs and loved it! A few weeks ago I started another one. As I was searching for a design to do I discovered that DMC has a whole section on their website filled with free patterns.

If you are looking for a project “on the cheap” print off a pattern then head to a thrift store for thread and hopefully fabric as well. Country Gift and Thrift is a great place to start for cross stitching supplies!

A nursery quilt made for my brother and his wife. A family project when a sibling welcomes their firstborn.

Most times the projects my sewing machine and I do together are layered in exquisite beauty that is not ours to reveal right away (yes you guessed it, wedding dresses are our best kept secrets👰🏻). So instead of just a few pictures of random projects, begin to look for sewing tips and such here. For now we’ll enjoy the pun above about quilting.

Taking a break from my sewing machine to pop on here and let u know that if you are looking for a simple face mask I am glad to sew some and am offering porch pick up (Parkesburg PA, or I can mail them to you).
