In the late 1990’s, I had the pleasure of meeting Dolly Parton, on a professional scale. I was working for a commercial photographer in East Tennessee who was hired every year for Dollywood promotional materials. Dollywood was closed for the shoot as Dolly and her team were present. Dolly was so down to earth, so gracious and absolutely gorgeous. Her laugh was infectious and I’ll never forget how warm and genuine she was. I’ve been a huge fan of Dolly Parton ever since. The music, the incredible impact she had on East Tennessee, her whole positive vibe, and of course, of Dolly herself. She is a legend. She will be missed. There will never be another. Rest in Peace Dolly 💕
