At our shop ,community has always been at the heart of what we do. While most items in our store are sold on consignment - with our consigners receiving a percentage of each sale-there are also moments when families generously choose to donate their items instead .Often, they simply want their children’s clothing, toys and baby gear to find a meaningful new home or to support a greater purpose .To honor that generosity ,proceeds from donated items are placed into a dedicated, benevolence fund used exclusively for community outreach and charitable giving .Recently those funds allowed us to purchase several bicycles directly from inventory in our shop and donate them to the Annapolis pop-up baby pantry for local families and children. We also feel it’s important to share that whenever possible we intentionally purchase items from consigners for these initiatives .Supporting the families who trust us with their items is deeply important to our business and mission. Every item consigned, donated and purchased in our store becomes part of something bigger than resale alone. It becomes part of a community helping one another. Thank you for continuing to support our small business and the meaningful work your generosity makes possible. Our next targeted donation will be for life-saving water devices. These would include puddle jumpers, as well as lifejackets if you have any that your children have outgrown or you are done with, please consider consigning or donating them to us. As always, we promise they will find a good home.
